We actively encourage tag and release of our fish, but that is not to say we don't keep any for the table.           Being a club we also keep records of catches, and those of us that catch a good fish , follow the strict ANSA  and IGFA rules and weigh them and submit them to the club for our records (click on the Club Records Link down below). We have also managed to pick up quite a few State and Australian Records. Some of the fisherpeople in our club are among the best you will find anywhere, and no one hesitates in passing on information they have gathered over  the years.

Australian 10kg Record

Whenever the weather is good. Someone from the club seems to be travelling either out into Port Philip Bay,   one of the lakes or rivers, or interstate to places like Narooma, Eden, Apollo Bay or as in this Picture, Jervis Bay where we seem to have a lot of good luck and fun whenever the wind and currents are favorable. Not every trip is as successful as this one was, but even so we always enjoy it.

Our 2008/2009 fishing Syllabus is listed in our Forum Section. if you would like to participate then just join the club and you will be made extremely welcome by all our members. Wives and children are also most welcome so join up the whole family and enjoy the dates together.
